Salam Islam's "A Verse A Day," this time mentions praying and its effects in this life and the Hereafter.
" And bid your family to prayer and be steadfast in maintaining it. We do not ask any provision of you: it is We who provide for you, and to Godwariness belongs the ultimate outcome [ in the Hereafter].
Quran (20:132)
1. One should start enjoining the right with his/her own family and relatives.
2. Upbringing and growth start with family.
3. Prayer (Salat) is one of the most significant instants of a virtuous deed.
4. Parents should encourage their children toward performing Salat.
5. Allah does not benefit from our prayers, and its benefit turns back to ourselves.
6. If one intends to enjoin the right, he/she should present the effects of that good deed.
7. Prayer (Salat) provides the ground for virtue and piety.
8. Godwariness leads one toward prosperity in this life and the hereafter.
