The Status of women in islam

Women in Islam are considered as the source of love and affection and their position in the family is highly regarded in Islam. One of the Surah's in the Quran is dedicated to women, and their significant role either in the society or family is emphasized in many Islamic sources. Women's rights in Islam are also highlighted in many narrations and verses of Quran. Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) encouraged Muslims to treat women with respect and avoid hurting them or putting too much pressure on them.
