Nouri Sardar was born in a Sunni Muslim family in London. He was raised in a religious household and at the age of 15 he converted to Shia Islam. One of his Shia friends of Nouri has a key role when he heard for the first time about Ashura and came across the beauties of Karbala.
Du'a Komeil (worships of Imam Ali) and the tragedies of Fatimah (AS)’s life were two significant factors and aspects that affected his reversion.
He began his writing in 2007 and published his first poem titled 'We Remember'. In 2011, he released his debut spoken word album "Hussain to Me". He published his second spoken word album titled, 'The 10th' in 2014. Moreover he has performed at various occasions including UMAA in Dearborn and the Imam Hussain Conference in London.
