Firas Hamdan grew up as a Christian in the United States and had not access to mosque, halal food, etc. around his hometown. He used to have very bounded information regarding Islam and its rules/ rites. When he was around 11 or 12 years old, he became familiar much more with Islam; it coincided with 9/11 events. Firas Hamdan had this opportunities to think profoundly about controversial issues regarding Sunni and Shia too and find the appropriate answer for all his questions.
