Why Do Muslim Women Wear The Hijab?

As we know, Jewish and Christian women in specific traditions wear a headscarf as a social commitment or practice to piety or modesty. In this video we see that Hijab is referred to by some names, some of the most public of which are a headscarf or a veil. Most Muslims who wear the covering, name it a hijab, an Arabic term meaning “cover.” However, there are several forms of hijab which are referred to by diverse names.
